AVIC Auto Purchases a US Component Giant

According to China Aviation News, on Sep. 10, American EST, AVIC AUTO has completed the business transaction for 572 million USD to fully purchase Henniges Automotive Holdings Inc.. Henniges is a top supplier for the automobile sealing and shock products, and its revenue in 2014 reached 825 million USD. It has 15 plants and 5 technology centers in North America, Europe and Asia, and its major customers include GM, Ford, Volkswagon, BMW, Daimler, Chrysler and BAIC, FAW, etc.. It is one successful overseas acquisition of a high-end auto components company since AVIC has bought and run Nexteer Automotive Group, a company of GM.
