CITIC Group wholly-owned subsidiary CITIC Dicastal plans to establish its first overseas aluminum alloy wheel Plant in Greenville, Mich., US, with an investment of 140 million US$ and the expected capacity will reach 3million units.
It’s reported that CITIC Dicastal has acquired the 98 acres plant from the bankrupted Uni-Solar company, and will newly build a 10,000 square feet plant, which will create 300 jobs. This investment will obtain 8.5 million government subsidies from Michigan State and Grand Rapids city.
It’s reported that this plant is CITIC Dicastal’s first overseas aluminum wheel plant, which will be responsible for the production and sale of aluminum wheels for its North American customers including GM, Ford, Chrysler, Honda, Toyota, etc..
