CITIC Equipment Heading for Europe

On March 27, the semi-mobile crushing station PSZ3000 manufactured by CITIC Heavy Industries Co., LTD for a Swedish company LKAB has gone through trials successfully. The Sweden-based LKAB, established in 1890, is the 6th largest iron ore supplier in the world with products provided mainly to Europe.

The on-site published trial report shows that all performances are stable and the technology can meet the design requirements. This is the first complete sets of mining equipment order of CITIC Heavy Industries with independent intellectual property rights to European high-end market, which will be for the first time used in the extremely cold climate condition inside the Arctic Circle.

In Jan. 2013, CITIC Heavy Industries and LKAB signed a contract on semi-mobile crushing station for the Mertainen project. CITIC will make delivery to LKAB in May this year. It’s reported that the project is the first large scale crushing station project exported to Europe.

Considering the good cooperation on Mertainen between both sides, CITIC and LKAB has signed another contract on crushing project after the trial. Both sides decided to further expand and deepen their cooperation for more excellent projects, pushing forward bilateral cooperation to a new level.

As the ever increasing internationalization of CITIC Heavy Industries, four major functions of overseas marketing, research, production and service have been formed, while technology, products and services with independent intellectual property rights will have the access to international end users. As a new crushing station supplier to LKAB which is an iron ore giant of Europe, CITIC Heavy Industries has drawn high attention from the North Europe. CITIC Heavy Industries has attracted the attention of North European securities analysts and its name has been put on the prominent place in Degens Industri which is the most famous North European business newspapers. The mining industry of Europe has showed great interest in CITIC’s crushers and will be concerned with the progress of the product.
