An Act of Wisdom and Vision Casts a Masterpiece in the World---Congratulations on the Opening of China Foundry Museum
the fair morning of May 18th,2012,----coincident with the 36th World Museum Day witnessed the opening ceremony of the China Industry Museum (the first issue) in the neighbourhood of str. Weibei ,Tiexi District, Shenyang, China .people with broad smiles convened to share the enlightenment and enjoyment from this occasion.
The listing ceremony of the casting hall of China Industry Museum, namely, China Foundry Museum began at the entrance at about 10 am. leaders of China Foundry Association---the host of China Foundry Museum, relevant leaders from Tiexi District, Shenyang, unveiled the red ribbon covering the tablet with China Foundry Museum inscribed on it, which marked a satisfactory ending of almost one year’s preparation work from the overall foundry industry.
At a quarter past eleven in the morning, the opening ceremony commenced and the honorary presidents Lu Yansun, Guo Shuyan ,Jia Chengbing as well as Mr. zhang Libo, Vice President and Secretary General of China Foundry Association were seated at invitation.Mr. Chen Haibo, Mayor of Shenyang and Guo Yucai, Deputy Director of State Administration Of Cultural Heritage, delivered the opening speech in turn.
Upon the opening ceremony, visitors made an enthusiastic tour within the museum scrutinizing each marvelous casting ,wondering……hardly do we know that this museum was chosen at the very site of the former Shenyang foundry thanks to the vision of Tiexi government and those executive leaders and the partnership with China Foundry Association and began commencement one year ago; that the scholars and experts made the utmost commitment to drawing the blueprint, drafting the exhibition outline and scrutinizing exhibit text and checking exhibits and corresponding introduction; that the leaders of preparation office were so conscientious that they accompanied workers at the site suffering from the severe weather even on the eve of the spring festival ;and that the leaders and staff responsible from China Foundry Association and preparation office traveled throughout China and sacrificed all their free time in search of cultural relics …… for those familiar with the whole construction process of the museum ,the construction process attested to the truth---the power of the masses is infinite. In future, those who are concerned about the health and sustainability of this museum are responsible for this new born star. We are just at the outset and will have a long way to go because a host of detailed issues will lie in front of us. Everyone present couldn’t help marveling and thrilling at the splendor which caught everyone’s eyes and intrigued everyone’s imagination.
